Yesterday we received a call from the flooding in Mankato to look at a basement that had minor water damage. I made sure that this morning I got in right away to remove cabinets and trim and assess the extent of the damage. In this case we discovered that we could remove the damaged areas as they were only up a few inches and we will be able to build new, solid bases and rebuild parts of the cabinets which will make them better and stronger than they were originally while saving money and time compared to completely replacing them. We were also able to assess the millwork and doors and found they only had cosmetic damage and we can repair the damage to the clear coat and leave them better than before at a fraction of the cost of replacing everything.
