Apple Roll-Up Cobbler, very yummy !
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup butter crisco
1/2 cup milk
Mix dry ingredients, cup in shortening until coarse. Add milk and mix completely.
Roll out between 2 sheets of wax paper that has been dusted with flour. Peel off top layer of wax paper. PLace 3 cups peeled and chopped apples down the center in a log mound. pull remaining dough over the apples and seal. Invert into casserole dish.
Sauce.
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 cinnamon
Bring to a boil and pour over roll up. Bake at 375 degrees until brown. Baste with sauce every 10 minutes. Takes about 30 minutes to bake.
