❄️ Arctic Blast Incoming: Warming Center to Open ❄️

A strong Arctic cold front is set to sweep through North and Central Texas on Tuesday, bringing the coldest temperatures of the season, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth Office. The City of Mansfield’s Emergency Management team is closely monitoring the forecast and remains vigilant in ensuring residents stay safe during this extreme cold.

💨 Dangerous Wind Chills:
🌬️ Wednesday AM: Feels-like temps between -10° and 15°
🌬️ Thursday AM: Feels-like temps between -10° and 10°

⚠️ Warming Center Details:
The City of Mansfield will activate a warming center from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, to Friday, Feb. 21, 2025 at the Mansfield Activities Center (106 S. Wisteria St.). Those in need can warm up in the facility’s heated lobby.

📢 City Crews & Emergency Response Standing By
The City’s Emergency Management team continues to coordinate resources and monitor conditions to ensure a swift response to any weather-related impacts. Additionally, Mansfield street crews are standing by, ready to respond to any icy conditions or roadway concerns as the front moves in.

Another great project completed by our professional installers!

Who is ready for some Pickleball??! No one yet!!😂 The court is resurfaced and striped, but please allow time for everything to dry appropriately. When the pickleball nets go up, you’ll know it’s time to play! Get your paddles ready.

Also, they were kind enough to repaint the basketball goal lines, too 😊
Thank you T-Bar Fence and Tennis Courts for such a fantastic court! Love the blue!

Looks like someone got a little carried away doing donuts on the ice last week. Luckily one of our crews are heading out to get it replaced.
