❄️ Arctic Blast Incoming: Warming Center to Open ❄️
A strong Arctic cold front is set to sweep through North and Central Texas on Tuesday, bringing the coldest temperatures of the season, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth Office. The City of Mansfield’s Emergency Management team is closely monitoring the forecast and remains vigilant in ensuring residents stay safe during this extreme cold.
💨 Dangerous Wind Chills:
🌬️ Wednesday AM: Feels-like temps between -10° and 15°
🌬️ Thursday AM: Feels-like temps between -10° and 10°
⚠️ Warming Center Details:
The City of Mansfield will activate a warming center from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, to Friday, Feb. 21, 2025 at the Mansfield Activities Center (106 S. Wisteria St.). Those in need can warm up in the facility’s heated lobby.
