I’m slowly putting my greenhouse back together after toting my plants about 20 miles away several times for some greenhouse photography.

I’m reworking this back space to truly be a full blown vegetable garden. I do that every winter, but they are usually scattered throughout my greenhouse in the summer.

I did have to up pot some tomato plants, I need to start rooting some dahlias, refresh and deadhead some herbs etc

And, I love every second of it.

PSA: my shade cloth is still not up.

Tim and Hayden are wrapping up calls this evening and may be working a little past 5 PM. If you can't reach us before the end of the day, don't worry!

Simply visit our website and submit an online order form before Monday's price increase takes effect. Doing so will lock in current pricing for your greenhouse order.

Then, on Monday, Tim or Hayden will personally call you to review everything, answer questions, make any needed adjustments, discuss options like financing or Rent-to-Own, and get your order fully processed.

We wanted to share a quick update with you.

It’s been almost three years since we’ve made any adjustments to our pricing, but beginning June 1st, there will be an increase across all Yoderbilt products.

We’ve worked hard to hold steady for as long as possible, and we’re so grateful for the continued support that’s allowed us to do that.

If a greenhouse has been in your plans, this is a great time to move forward and secure current pricing before the change takes place.

We’re seeing more and more families lean into growing their own food, extending their seasons, and having more control over quality and nutrition at home - and it’s something we’re truly honored to be a small part of.

We also offer traditional financing (with approved credit) along with our Rent-to-Own program, making it easier to move forward in a way that fits your budget.

I think it’s official… my summer garden is slowly taking over the greenhouse. 🌿🍅😂

And honestly?

The reason is simple.

Deer.

The tomatoes are thriving, the peppers -are happy, and now I’m seriously considering moving my container roses back into the greenhouse, too. Sometimes it’s just easier than sharing with the local wildlife. 🦌

This weekend I’ll be up-potting my okra seedlings that I started from seeds saved from last year’s greenhouse crop, while keeping an eye on the kale, onions, herbs, and Swiss chard that are also filling the greenhouse with fresh growth. I got them planted later than usual, but they’re ready for more room to grow.

One of my favorite gardening memories from last year was harvesting okra well into early winter thanks to the protection of the greenhouse. There’s something incredibly satisfying about saving seeds from one season and watching them become the next.

So if you need me this summer, I’ll probably be out in the greenhouse during those early morning and late evening hours… where the tomatoes are producing, the okra is growing, the roses may be making a comeback, and the deer are looking in from the outside. 🌿💚
