Calatheas get a bad reputation as being difficult to “keep alive” but we’re here to break that stereotype down! The truth is calatheas DONT need a humidifier to thrive! If your leaves are getting crispy edges it can be more than humidity levels.. things such as under/over watering (we recommend watering every 5 days.) Depending on your location your local tap water may have too many chemicals to help your plant thrive (try switching to filtered water, rain water or even leave your tap water out for 24hrs before watering!) LIGHTING plays a key role as well! Too bright of light can be your crispy leave culprit! & lastly for those of you who swear it’s your humidity levels (and don’t want an unnecessary humidifier) you can simply mist your plants every other day or take your plant into your bathroom every other day when you shower.
You’ll have healthy calatheas without the stress of filling a humidifier 🥰
