🌱Overwatering peas can cause root rot, leading to yellowing and drying out of the plant.

🌱Potatoes & tomatoes are closely related. They are from the same family, and should not be planted next to each other. They will compete for nutrients, they can also attract similar pests.

🌱Cucumbers are heavy feeders that take up a lot of water, so if planted right next to potatoes they will compete viciously for the nutrients.

🌱Cabbage is a good companion plant for potatoes because it doesn't compete for nutrients or space.

🌱Pole beans, onions, and beets stunt each other's growth.

🌱Planting pole beans or bush beans near your carrot plants will ensure that the carrots have rich and healthy soil.

🌱Beets and onions are good companion plants because they have similar growing needs and repel many of the same insects.

🌱Tomatoes benefit carrots by providing shade during the hotter summer months. Carrots benefit tomatoes by helping aerate the soil and allowing the tomato roots to expand throughout their growing space.

🌱You should not plant tomatoes next to cabbage because they compete for nutrients and can stunt the tomato's growth.

🌱Onions unappealing odor is a natural deterrent of many garden pests that feed on carrots. Onions can be a useful deterrent of a common carrot seeking pest called the carrot fly.

🌱 Marigolds will repel every garden pest known to mankind, including bugs, snails, rabbits, ground hogs, and deer!

Tomorrow is National Son Day. I'm posting this a day early. Iay not have time tomorrow. As Matthew is a rainbow baby, "Over the Rainbow" by Judy Garland is perfect. Matthew, we love you to the 🌙 and back.

National Daughter Day. We were told we had a 5 percent change of conceiving. Boy were doctors wrong. This is why I chosen tomorrow. Jenna you are the best gift for your dad and I.
