Out with the old, in with the new!
This homeowner's water heater was installed in 2018 and had started leaking, so we swapped it out for a brand-new Rheem gas water heater. The new unit is set on its stand with fresh seismic straps, new water lines and an expansion tank to protect the system from pressure swings.
Did you know a little yearly maintenance can add years to your water heater's life? Flushing out sediment, checking the anode rod, and testing the relief valve help prevent the kind of early failure and leaks we saw here.
Is your water heater due for a checkup or showing signs of trouble (leaks, rusty water, popping noises, not enough hot water)? Give Otter Plumbing a call. We're happy to help! 🦦
