♥️🥹 Y’all, we can’t believe it’s over! But the lights and cedar poles down and out, evidently self-walking fence panels moved along, cartwheels spun, a few more trees adopted yesterday, say it is. Indeed, we got the booth disassembled, the Disco Spud 🛻🪩🥔 bumbled off the lot, loaded the whole circus up on our highway sleigh, and headed back to our workshop ‘til next year! 🤩 Thank you all fir 🌲 (Ha! That was a typo first, but I’m keeping it! 😅) making our holidays Merry and Bright the way you do every year! We trust your trees are all as lovely 🎄 as the pictures many of you have shared as we all bask in the remaining days ‘til Christmas and 2026! And we promise to keep you all posted as we figure out where 🗺️📍 we’ll set up shop next year! Goodest will and warmest fuzzies to you all, Tree People! Keep looking after each other and we’ll see y’all again in 11 months or so! 🫶🌎✨

Happy Saturday, Tree People! 🙏 This post is a THANK YOU to some of today’s customers who’ve sought us out again and again for years and years! We didn’t get a picture of all of you today, and only JUST thought to take pictures at all, so we missed those if you who came in earlier in the season, but we appreciate ALL of you gobs! And would love to see YOUR pictures (tag us, so we see ‘em!)! Some folks today mentioned they had a family picture at the lot from a couple decades ago! 🤩🥹 What fun!! We went to Bammaw and Popie’s farm yesterday to visit and collect more lovely mosses, lichens, and nature baubles for the ornament terrariums the kids have been working on. 🌿🫧 But we had no idea we’d see so many beautiful frost flowers! 🤩 What a treat is the natural world! We curated a good sized box of treasures and then spent the following hour or so talking about books and tucking mosses and whatnot into their little fairy bubble homes. 🫧 Then it was back to the lot to freshen up the terrarium display at the booth and have some chicken pot pie, thanks to dear Kelly, who becomes everyone’s mom this time of year. 🫶🍽️ Let’s all be more like Kelly. 💛 The world needs more Kellys.

Competitive, timed rebar holding. ⏰💪 Obviously. 😆 And oddly enough, this category of feats-of-strength-and-speed is fairly common among the family, and especially this time of year. This year: rebar, last year: sledge hammer, previous year (if memory serves): a gallon of milk.🥛 A quiet tree lot moment really brings out the competitive spirit in this bunch. And, though it generally takes at least two brothers (one of whom is Matt) to begin the feats, competitive holding has been Mike’s stronghold. But, I’ll let you all know when we’ve reached the foot races and leg wrestling portion of our programming!🦵 And, thanks 🙏 for keeping us busy more often than not, Tree People, ‘cause these feats are really probably not the most productive use of the family brawn and grit. But they do make us laugh! 😂 And that’s worth something! In perhaps more important news, 📰 there are still plenty of really beautiful trees out here! 🌲 Same for wreaths, garland and ornaments, so stop by 3233 Big Bend tomorrow and have a look.
