If you saw our post about having to rent a trailer to bring something home from the Homestead Festival… this is it!

We are excited to be able to offer these 6' x 12' Mobile Chicken Tractors right here at North Georgia Homestead Supply!

These coops are made with care in Ohio and built for real homestead use with a galvanized steel tube frame, heavy duty hardware, commercial-grade ribbed metal roofing, and heavy-gauge 1" x 1" galvanized welded wire for strong predator protection.

They are also designed to make daily chicken chores easier:

1. Four large swing-down, flat-free wheels
2. Easy-lift lever handle for simple moving
3.Roll-out nesting box for gathering eggs from outside the coop
4.Outside-fill feeder and auto waterer
5.Removable shade tarp for sun and rain protection
6.Lightweight, durable, and portable design

The advertised price ($2499) is for an unassembled coop, packed on a pallet with instructions and all hardware included. If you compare this with some other portable coops out there with comparable features they are up to $1000 more, for a less durable product. We believe if you are going to spend this much for a coop, it should work well, be made in USA, last a lifetime and be repairable, and this one checks all the boxes!

Assembly and local delivery are also available. See our website for more details and pricing.

This is a great option for backyard flocks, rotational grazing, pasture-raised eggs, meat birds, or anyone wanting a stronger, durable and easier-to-move chicken tractor that will hold up to the elements and predator pressure.

Come by the store to see this one in person (while it lasts) or message us with questions!

Our live stream may have ended early (thanks for trying to save us Ryan Steva), but we finished out the weekend strong at The Homestead Festival. So much so that we had to find a Uhaul trailer in a sketchy part of town at nearly midnight just to get something back to North Georgia Homestead Supply
Can you guess what's in the uhaul box trailer? Tell us in the comments!
