Business is fun!
But relationships are the real value.
Allen and I have worked together for years—building spec homes, developing subdivisions, and sharing some great projects. Recently, he decided it was time to slow down and sell off his rental portfolio. After a few deals fell through with brokers and syndicators, we were able to step in and make something happen.
We brought in a buyer for part of the portfolio and kept a portion for ourselves—successfully closing on $12 million worth of real estate (231 units). I was able to structure and negotiate a deal using creative financing that worked for everyone involved.
I hesitated to post this because I don’t usually like sharing this kind of stuff—but sometimes the best way to find the next opportunity is by letting folks know what’s possible.
If you’re nearing retirement and considering selling your portfolio (within 45 miles of Jackson, MO), I’d love to talk. Even if part of it’s outside our area, I may be able to help find a buyer—just like we did here.
Appreciate everyone involved—our team, the title company, capitalist cartel mastermind group, the new bank relationship, and all the folks who helped bring it together.
If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.
