Excited for the new growing season? I am for sure! Little announcement with more details in the near future, last year I told many of my customers that I would not have any flowers in 2026 unless I found someone willing to take over flowers. Some of you may or may not know how The Remedy Gardens got its "roots". Long story short.....I started the greenhouse approximately 15yrs ago as a source of income to help pay for animal feed, care, & vet bills for the animal sanctuary that I had started. I took in all walks of life that were unwanted, abused, neglected, or just had a story, including human(my husband wasn't real impressed when I came home with a homeless person, true story!!) I really miss it, but I don't miss the particular area I lived in! It was a wonderful place that people came to visit including bus loads of kids, we had close to 200 animals for everyone to learn about. The biggest thing everyone was amazed by was how clean the place was & how happy all the critters were. I could type on & on but I won't ....for your sake!! But here are some of my favorite pictures, enjoy......

Can you say...HOUSEPLANTS?? The Remedy Gardens has houseplants for YOU at a price you can't pass up! We also have some perennials taken in on consignment including roses, rhododendrons, azaleas, mints, & more. Open this weekend Fri 9/12-Sun 9/14 from 10am-4pm except Sun we close at 3pm or 7 days a week by appointment with one days notice.

A hobby gone wild is the best way to describe The Remedy Gardens!! Nestled in the beautiful Catskill Mountains we are a small place that offers a wide variety of house plants specializing in Cactus & Succulents.

10/1/19 Please understand a couple of things, we have just relocated less than 6 months ago & it takes time to get settled in so at the present time we have no regular hours or signage up, in the spring that will change, things are also a bit unorganized, & we only have one greenhouse up at present which has all my personal plants in so all you will see is not for sale. We are located less than one mile off Rt 30 up East Hubbell Hill Rd at Kelly Corners on 165 Parker Rd, Margaretville NY. If you wish to come to The Remedy Gardens & you give me a day with a time frame of a couple of hours we will try our best to accommodate you & we will give better directions if needed. Thank you for understanding & hope to see you soon!!!

For the future....Over the winter we will be working on many events for the future such as learning to can, freeze & dry food, candle making, anything herbal from growing to making tinctures, growing veggies, garden pest, plant care & a host of other subjects. We are always looking for folks who have experience in any of the above subjects or maybe you have experience in something not mentioned that you think will “fit the mold”. The Remedy will be contacting folks that we know of that have a specific point of knowledge & asking if they would like to host a gathering. Please contact us if interested in anyway on these subjects, we would love to hear your thoughts. We would enjoy YOU to join up with us with ideas, helping with these events in anyway or maybe you just want to get your hands in the dirt, we have lots of that going on also,come design a garden. We hope to become a certified butterfly garden & a certified wildlife habitat soon. The Remedy also has a few things that are being worked on that we are not ready to make public yet(but it will be wonderful indeed). We wish to make The Remedy a pleasant public place for all, so please join us & come grow with us...:)

Directions.....turn off Rt 30 on to EAST Hubbell Hill rd (not west, EAST) continue up EAST Hubbell Hill approx 1/2 mile, look for first set of mail boxes on left(one will be purple) turn up that driveway & stay to the left go just under 1/2 mile up that driveway & you will see us! We are less than 1 mile off rt 30....come visit!!!
