❤ We love partnering with designers that push their design to the limit!

A ceiling is sometimes a part of a room that is typically painted or some will add wallpaper or beams to the architecture.

For this project, we're working on the home theater room of the home and instead of just hanging a chandelier on the ceiling, we custom made an upholstered ceiling panel that is suspended from the ceiling where the chandelier will hang at the center.

Not only will this add a stunning element to the space but it will soften the space acoustically as well.

After making a paper template on the floor and the contractor cutting out the frame with wood, we upholstered the wood design using two different fabrics giving it more depth with added nail heads for extra detail. The interior designer was beyond thrilled that we executed and brought their design to life!

There is something captivating about a room with many windows and a view!

Despite the design being open, the client still needed a feeling of privacy. With traverse rods and sheer draperies, we wanted to soften the space and incorporate privacy when needed while supporting the design of this room.

Today we’re celebrating someone very special around here… Happy Birthday to my son, Carlos! 🎉🎂

Having your son be part of the family business is something pretty special, and I’m incredibly proud of the man Carlos has become.

He’s dependable, hardworking, and always willing to jump in wherever he’s needed. But beyond everything he brings to Excell In Design, I’m simply grateful that I get to call him my son. 💖

Carlos, I hope this next year brings you plenty of happiness, new adventures, success, and everything you deserve.

Sometimes too much matchy-matchy is actually overwhelming.

😍Here's a great example of how to break it up!

You can mute a busier side of a room simply by using sheer drapery panels with a grommet top to add balance to the space, as shown here.

On the opposite sides of the room, we chose to add draperies with contrast banding inset from the bottom together with decorative rods and rings.

This allowed to tone down the wall with the TV and decorative details a bit.

For an extra detailed element, we custom designed the sofa decorative pillows so that the banding and drapery colors play off of the pillow fabric.

This is a perfect example that design is limitless when you Excell In Design with us and our custom draperies!
