Keepers of the Old Ways is happening this weekend, and we’ll be there with a load of plants (including 30+ varieties of spicy and sweet peppers from Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company)🌶! It’s a great chance to learn about “forgotten” skills...and of course, food forests and survival gardening!

Can’t wait to learn from the awesome speakers, including our favorite food forest personality and font of knowledge, David The Good (hoping he’d have something delightfully snarky to say about being referred to as a “personality”), and local pals Alex Rogan on sourdough bread-making and Billy Bailey on foraging!

We’ll be at the Marianna City Farmers Market for the Spring Harvest Festival this Saturday!🌻🫐

What better way to celebrate the start of spring than by beautifying your landscape with some edible plants that can nourish you for years to come?🥰

We’re well stocked with lots of edible plants, especially harder to find perennials like Darrow’s (native) Blueberry, Pineapple Guava, Celeste Figs, Swamp Milkweed (native perennial), and galangal ginger in affordable starter sizes ($8 each).

🌳 And we’re offering a SALE on barefoot fruit and nut trees, at 2 for $35! 🍐🍑🍇 See images to browse some of what we have in stock and come see us Saturday!

This Saturday is our first day at Market at St. Andrews and Spring is here! Come see us and get your fruit trees, shrubs, and edible starter plants while the time is right! 🌱🦋 We'll be bringing a bunch of our popular, well-adapted Pineapple Guava and lots of other favorites for our area 🤩 And where else can you get a Toon ('Beef and Onion') tree in the Panhandle? 🤗

We won't be able to bring all of our inventory, so please do consider placing a pre-order for larger plants (instructions in photos) so we can be sure to have exactly what you want ready for you. And if there's an edible plant you're looking for, let us know and we'll try to help! Hope to see you Saturday! 🌻

Thanks to everyone who pre-ordered plants to pick up at the Marianna City Farmers Market tomorrow! The market will be opening at 9 because of weather, but we'll still be there at 8. It looks like it will be wet, so be sure to bring a tarp or towel if you're putting plants in your car! We'll be limited in what we can set up, being out on the lawn in the rain, so be sure to let us know if there's something you're interested in seeing tomorrow! 🌱

After days of working to get the aphids on our pepper and herb seedlings under control, woke up to find this little one quietly munching away. 🐞 Even indoors, nature finds a way and our "control" proves to be a comforting illusion...
