Happy Sunday! 💚

A few photos from around the garden this morning. Otis enjoyed his morning mist and hay, the chickens squabbled as we filled their food and water, and our plants growing full and bright. 🌻🌿

With the end of spring on the horizon, there's no better time to stop by Garden Social and enjoy the last few cool mornings.

Garden Social ate a tree for breakfast today. 35ft class, filled our trailer to the top!

We are blessed to have the opportunity to absolutely destroy Indian Rosewood trees (Dalbergia Sissoo) throughout the local community.

Sissoo trees are an invasive menace and destroy concrete structures, foundations, walls, and totally wreck water systems with their incredibly aggressive, shallow and extensive root systems.

Post removal, we take the additional steps to fully kill Sissoo by applying a chemical systemic herbicide, which is required to ensure they dont re-emerge from the root, a step most landscape contractors fail to take, which often results in an ongoing landscape nightmare.

After receiving a call for a tree planting, we sent our team of mini pros out to survey the jobsite for quality control.

In this image, our resident expert Lucero exemplifies the importance of becoming the tree, while foreman Rosanna supervised soil operations.

Planting preparation is critical as the season heats up, especially as temperatures rise into the 100s.
