🥵 Why is one room hotter than the rest of my house?

If you've got one bedroom, bonus room or upstairs space that never seems to cool down, you're definitely not alone - especially during a Georgia summer.

A few common causes can include:

🔹 Closed or blocked air vents
🔹 Dirty air filters restricting airflow
🔹 Leaky or poorly insulated ductwork
🔹 Insufficient attic insulation
🔹 Windows getting heavy afternoon sun
🔹 An HVAC system that isn't properly balanced for the home

Before cranking the thermostat down another few degrees, check your vents and air filter first. If one area of the house is consistently much warmer than everywhere else, there may be an airflow or HVAC issue worth having checked.
