Refinishing of a stair rail. This one was in pretty bad condition. The spindles were falling out due to improper installation, and the finish was coming off from normal wear and tear. We sanded it all down, hit it with 2 coats of dark gray primer, and then sprayed 3 coats of Emerald urethane enamel from Sherwin Williams. To save cost, we reused the old spindles by using caps that fastened to the top and bottom rails, making them more rigid and tying the system together better.
