Regrettably, this watercolor was misplaced a few years ago during the reframing process. I have a couple more of the feathers that I painted and finely cut out - perhaps I will recreate it.

Another small pastel on sanded paper going to the framer. This has to be one of my very favorite subjects: Sandhill Cranes. I love this one's "floofy" feathers! Image itself is 6 X 8", with frame it will be 8 X 10".

Entwined Suspended Roots.
Original pastel paintings from a photo I took on Northlight Beach, Grand Island, years ago.

I loved it so much, I have painted three versions of it! The two recent ones will soon be framed and at Zero Degrees Gallery.

The two red pines' roots have been left, entwined and suspended in air after the sand and sandstone eroded away.
