How would you use these boards in your next project. Had to think of my friend he does some amazing things with unique grained boards. These are fresh out of the kiln so they are a little rough but some sanding and a little oil these grains will pop.

Check out these grain patterns.

We look for the ugly logs because they have the most interesting grains and figure. It has a lot to do with how you position the log on the mill for the cut to produce the figure you see in this video. Every piece that we cut was calculated before it even went on the mill. Yeah you can cut straight logs all day and turn out lots of lumber. Thats not what we look for. We want epic pieces that you cant find in the store. If you come to our shop you will find several pieces that will amaze you.

You won't find grain and colors like this in any big box store. This spalted maple has grain and colors that will never be reproduced. I can just imagine these cookies as an end table that would be epic. Hoskinds Hardwoods has some amazing pieces that would be perfect for that rustic look. Beautiful colors that nature has produced.
