I promise I’m alive LOL. I hit a wall and had to take a break. I still find it hard to take warning signs into account after years of overachieving and always trying to be the top student - it takes a while to deconstruct. It helps if your body gets tired of you and shuts you down
That being said, here is Part 1 of Rutgers University gardens as part of the The American Iris Society 2026 National Convention Gardens Tour. What you’ll see a lovely, well marked garden for the Convention Guest Iris.
As much as I love the iris, I also love the people! There is something so special about the mutual joy of seeing the nature, and being able to witness and capture that joy makes all the deadlines worth it!
Thank you to my Oklahoma Iris Society family who helped keep me alive as I was wandering the nature and bouncing from pretty flower to pretty flower.
I try to capture the names (of iris and people) as accurately as possible. Please feel free to tag someone if I missed them!
