To our Houston-area friends facing some cold ❄️ weather, a few tips:
-Turn off your irrigation system
-Drain any pipes to and from your tank that you can
-Consider placing bags of compost/mulch on any piping/valves at ground level

Your metal rain tanks should be fine through this, but if you’re worried, go ahead and drain them. It will rain again, we promise! ☔️ 🌧
