Working at a brewery in Montreal today on a 25-foot clock. Doing some maintenance, but the only way to reach the back of the motor is by climbing a series of carefully placed ropes about 75 feet off the ground. Not for the faint of heart. Worked alongside the skilled team Vertical Solutions based in Montreal.

We’re proud to share the successful restoration and relocation of the iconic Ann Morrison Park clock tower, completed this past Wednesday!

Originally gifted to the city in the 1960s by Don Daly, the clock tower was once a modern marvel and park landmark. Over the years, the original clocks fell into disrepair, eventually going silent. But now, thanks to an amazing team effort, time is ticking once again.

Americlock installed four new 60-inch canister clocks — each handcrafted in St. Louis by skilled Americlock craftsmen. These new faces are equipped with LED backlighting and synchronized through a GPS-enabled precision time controller, ensuring accurate timekeeping and high visibility day or night. The updated design honors the clean, mid-century look of the original while introducing modern reliability.

A huge thank you to Mark and Vicky Daly, whose vision and coordination made this project possible. Alongside a skilled team of engineers, steelworkers, crane operators, and electricians, they carefully relocated the entire tower to a central, more accessible location in the park.

This isn’t just a clock — it’s a piece of Boise’s history, reimagined for the future.

Turning Back Time at the Pettis County Courthouse

After nearly a century of standing watch over Sedalia, the clock at the Pettis County Courthouse has been given a new lease on life — just in time for a very special anniversary this May.

In just two days, we carefully removed the broken glass from the clock faces, sanded and repainted the original historic cast iron frames, and handcrafted new clock hands to mirror the originals. Deep inside the tower, we also restored the courthouse’s voice — the 1924 McShane bell — by installing a new striker so it can ring out proudly from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day.The Pettis County Courthouse

Inside the tower, we discovered signs of time passing — from worn paint to the original, aging wiring that had quietly served for decades.

After careful preparation, sanding, and fresh paint, the clock faces now gleam once more — preserving their historic character while standing strong for the future.

And finally, the heart of it all — the 1924 McShane bell now rings once again, thanks to a new automatic striker system that honors tradition while ensuring reliability for years to come.

We are incredibly proud to have been part of preserving this piece of Sedalia’s history. Next time you hear the bell or glance up at the courthouse clock, know that you’re witnessing a tradition reborn.

Thank you to Pettis County for trusting us with this meaningful project.

Time meets art in paradise.

Americlock is proud to have collaborated with artist Ingrid Rudelman Esculturas to create this custom clock for the stunning new Waldorf Astoria Guanacaste in Costa Rica.

This sculptural timepiece features:
• A precision-turned aluminum body
• Dual custom laminated white glass faces
• A durable, elegant whiskey bronze powder coat finish
• controller that updates the clock including for power outages

Designed to seamlessly integrate into Ingrid’s breathtaking sculpture, this clock was installed just ahead of the resort’s grand opening—bringing functional beauty to an already iconic setting.

It was an honor to be part of this incredible project and contribute a small piece to such a world-class destination.

In 2013 The City of Hartsville, South Carolina City Hall was moved to this former Bank of America building and it came with an added bonus. When the city of Hartsville South Carolina reached out for help restoring this unique bracket clock outside of their new location on Main Street, we were very happy to step in and give this timepiece the attention it needed. The vintage bracket clock created from copper and brass was completely rewired, all internal workings were replaced and weatherproof enclosures were added. With the new internal workings the clock will now reset itself automatically for Daylight Savings Time or in the case of a power outage. This beauty will now be keeping perfect time for years to come.

This 250 ft clock tower built in the 1950’s for Dollar Savings Bank, stood for years as a Bronx icon at 2530 Grand Concourse. Due to many factors the tower fell into disrepair and has remained that way for decades. Thanks to the efforts of the Landmark Preservation Commission and the team here at Americlock in St. Louis, this is no longer the case. The LPC wanted to ensure that the clock tower was as close to original as possible and we delivered. We took the original bronze hands and markers back to our shop and where we were able to restore and paint them to match the natural patina of the bronze, we built new aluminum clock rings and polycarbonate clock faces and then it was back to the Bronx to bring it all together with the help of Construction. The clocks were installed with impulse motors connected to a controller so that each clock face can be set individually. Visitors to the Grand Concourse in the Bronx can now look up and see their iconic clock tower restored to its former glory!

This 11 foot window clock was recently installed in Culver City CA at a showroom. Using frosted opaque acrylic with raised black acrylic numbers, this clock can be seen from inside and outside the showroom. The frame was layered laser cut aluminum which sandwiched the numbers perfectly. Cast aluminum rosettes finish off the look. Loved working on this project and loved the final installation as well.

On Labor Day we labor because that’s what it’s called. In city of Westminster MD getting these clocks back up and running after removing to replace the clock faces and keep the 100 year old tin bezels. Clocks are on time and the bell rings every hour. Like clockwork. Westminster, Maryland
