Please see the attached data center position paper published by the NGWA.

The National Ground Water Association is a not-for-profit professional society and trade association for the global groundwater industry. Members around the world include leading public and private sector groundwater scientists, engineers, water well system professionals, manufacturers, and suppliers of groundwater-related products and services. The Association’s vision is to be the leading groundwater association advocating for responsible development, management, and use of water.

The position paper is intended to be distributed to federal, state, and local government officials to raise awareness of the importance of responsible data center development and the need for ground water quantity and quality protection.

The NGWA is currently working on a more in depth “white paper,” as they call it, that will include peer-reviewed literature references and regulatory and guidance documents.

I’m pleased to announce that I’ll be presenting my educational seminar “Digging the Past: A Brief History of Well Drilling” at the National Ground Water Association convention in New Orleans this year.

It was my great pleasure to sponsor and coach the Bushong Bombers in the 14U COBRA league this summer. These boys went 10-4, had a combined batting average of .387, scored a combined 155 runs, and lost a nailbiting heartbreaker in the semifinal game of the league tournament, despite injuries and absenses. Positive attitude and effort all season long. Can’t ask for more than that.
