Fun with flooring! I completed an entire home for some repeat clients. This was a test of endurance for an old guy. I became very close with my demo hammer taking up glued down engineered and ceramic tile off concrete. Woot! The clients selected commercial grade Interface flooring for the entire floors on both levels and some new oak retro treads for the stairs. This project also involved changing out some speedbase in places where the puppy dog decided to chew it in random places. Of course, new shoe molding was installef throughout. Now, the clients have a beautiful, easy to clean floor!

I had a great opportunity to install another tongue and groove ceiling in what was an outdoor, covered patio. Unfortunately, I did not take a " before" picture. The clients contracted with a company to glass in the porch. I came in afterwards and removed all of the vinyl soffit, insulated, then installed tongue and groove pine stained and sealed The clients are happy to have a warm, comfortable space they can utilize year round.

This was a fun, small project. A wonderful repeat client wanted to spruce up their utility sink with a tiled backsplash ( they just might be dog lovers). How do you like?

Are you tired of stepping over the tub curb? I just completed this tub to shower conversion for some repeat clients. This is the second one for them as I did a previous one in their other bathroom two years ago. The drywall was removed around the perimeter so the single piece tub unit could beremoved by cutting into three pieces. Next, the existing drain was cut out and repositioned for the shower base. A new mixing valve was soldered into position and based on client ergonomics. Backers were installed for grab bars before the walls were set. Some drywall finishing and painting made the unit look seamless to the alcove. Last, but not least, a frameless shower door gives the space a sleek, modern appeal.

I just completed this deck remodel for some great clients. Originally, the intent was to save the decking and framing as much as possible. Only the columns and decking were saved. The previous deck had some structural issues that now have been corrected using a beam and better connectors. The deck is solid and safe to use. The customers are happy with result and ready to use it.

Monday was a bit cold, but not too much for some demolition. This deck is in immediate need of repair for some new clients. The Trex decking is going to be saved and put back down. All of the framing will be replaced with the exception of the columns. The weather forecast looks good, so I hope to wrap this up before years end.

Aside from a final inspection, this project is complete. Yesterday was decent enough to get outside and finish up the gutters, downspout, and plastic tile to carry the water away. The clients are ready to use their new space!

This project is almost wrapped up. I have to finish the gutters outside yet. The interior is complete and ready to be enjoyed!

Good day! I wanted to add a few updated pics of the current addition. The outside is finished with the exception of gutter extentions and lattice work. On the inside, I just finished rocking and am ready to lay down some mud/ tape.

The "continued" pictures of my current project. The clients want to convert their screened room into a 3/4 seasons room and extending it out. This requires supporting the existing roof load, removal of the existing deck framing, new footings, and reframing the new floor system. The new floor will be isolated from the adjacent deck by raising it up, separating with a gap, and flashing between to prevent water infiltration. The floor is also framed with pressure treated members, closed off on the bottom with treated plywood, insulated, and capped with tongue and groove sub floor. The walls are then framed, beams lapped and extended. Trusses are expected to arrive soon along with windows. I tarped off and covered tge walls to prevent water from getting though the subfloor is wet .rated exposure for a period of time. I did not want to risk the insulation getting wet. To be continued...
