WANTED: Lead Field Technician

We're continuing to GROW and seek an experienced Lead Field Tech to join our flooring team at DSIS. If you enjoy taking initiative, hands-on work, problem-solving with a solid crew, and stepping into a leadership role, then we want to meet you.

The role:
• Travel to job sites as a leading member of the field team
• Complete flooring installations and repairs
• Deliver quality workmanship in various installation environments

Our expectations:
• Apply your knowledge and skills to the job
• Demonstrate ownership of work start to finish
• Workdays of 10+ hours can be required on active projects
• Proactive communication to prevent chaos
• Use all PPE and prioritize safety
• W-2 employee only (no 1099s)

MCON Underground expanded its corporate office space in northeast Kansas, choosing an epoxy floor throughout for ease of care and a clean aesthetic. Our team ground the new concrete and filled joints, cracks, and other imperfections. We broadcast a custom flake that the owners designed themselves and finished with a polyaspartic topcoat. Then we inset the client's custom logo in various locations, resulting in a unique look that unifies all areas of the new space. M CON, LLC

Recent work done for two Jiffy L**e locations, working over a weekend during the client's off-hours to let them keep doing business as usual. Our crew removed the existing floor and addressed imperfections. Then we installed an epoxy base coat, followed by a full broadcast of colored flake, finishing with a top coat of polyaspartic with a light broadcast of aluminum oxide for traction. An interesting touch was the insetting of the client's logo in several prominent corner areas.
