While you're browsing the new site drop your email in the footer to stay up to date on all the art and commission news! That is honestly the best way to stay in touch with me since Meta already took away all of my followers and community and audience last year and I still don't have it back. It's fine I'm fine.

I also love throwing random coupons out there so you never know what'll come through an email.

Still not taking commissions yet, but this was one of the things I wanted to get updated in my little break.

Painted last night with no plan, no agenda, no expectations. Just me and some pals dabbling in paint. These are just baby steps to opening my heart and mind to art again. I haven’t been able to sit at the easel yet without dreading it, even for a painting I’m excited for, but maybe soon.

Little announcement: I’ll be taking a commission break for at least 2 months. I’ve been taking commissions nonstop since 2019. It was a blessing during Covid and a huge help to my family. I love painting, I love creating memories and untold stories, but I’m tired. And I want to keep loving it.
I have a creative 9-5 that uses a lot of my creative brain. I’m also almost done writing a book that’s so close to being ready to ready to share with the world, which is also creatively draining.
It also wasn’t easy losing all of my social media accounts and my community I worked so hard to build up with yearly customers and continuous support.
I love being creative, but I knew I needed to take a break when I looked at my studio and felt an overwhelming sense of dread. Art is supposed to fuel me. It’s supposed to carry me over the deserts of my soul. But it’s run dry itself.
So a break it is.

You can still submit requests on my website and inquire about live wedding paintings. Those won’t be overlooked. But right now, I need to lay down the brush and rest.
