The only problem: a name was written across the cover. Instead of buying a new cover or putting up with the name, I decided to try my hand at a custom paint job. After taking it to school and receiving very positive feedback, I decided to start this up to make some extra funds for my trip to Germany this summer. If you are interested in getting your calculator painted, here are the rates:
$10 for
the cover (this is the sleeve that goes over the front of the calculator that slides off)
$3 for the key cover (this is the cover behind the keys that some calculators can take off)
$5 for the battery cover
Each calculator is hand painted and sealed with a non-chip varnish. The design should last for a considerate amount of time, and even if you scratch nails lightly against it, it will not chip or flake off. Here's how it works: find me at school or post on the page's wall to order a calculator. Specify what you want done and if you want any subject matter on it. Favorite colors, images, background, YOU CAN HAVE WHATEVER YOU WANT! I will draw up a sketch, show it to you, and if you like it I will take payment then start on painting the calculator. Usually, I do them on the weekends, so you should have them by Monday unless things are unusually hectic. If you would like a different thing painted. Headphones, phones, phone covers, ect, I will give you a rate to paint it. Just run it by me. : )
THANK YOU for all the support, and a special shout-out to my first two customers, Caleb Simon and Sam Christianson. "Calcupainter: You Can Have WHATEVER You Want."
