Time to Reprogram the Landscape Industry
2009 it started. The realization that I was designing my landscape projects ‘wrong’. I was designing just like everyone else.....pick the shrub/tree/perennial based on sun/shade (and zone of course) and make it pretty via ‘instant gratification’. Then it hit me.......listening to my clients tell me their landscapes are overgrown or high maintenance.........it was time to reprogram my brain. Right Plant, Right Place, Right Space has become my motto. I will say there are few that think like me and I hope to spread my knowledge and way of thinking to homeowners, landscape professionals and other property owners to reprogram the way they think about (and design) their landscaping.
