The Halas Lowering Device is an affordable, light weight tool with a unique method of wrapping the rope. The user alternates the direction of wraps in a figure eight pattern eliminating rope twist.

Carl Halas is a Certified Arborist and owner of Halas Arborists in Weddington, North Carolina since 1990. He is a winner of two ISA Southern Chapter Tree Climbing Competitions and Inventor of the Haultz Lowering Device in 2001. He constantly searches for efficient techniques amongst his profession and looks for innovative ideas to enhance job site performance.
