Imagine having a fireplace wall this tall. What would you do with all that vertical space?

For this project, we combined several materials to create a dramatic floor-to-ceiling design while upgrading the existing fireplace.

The center features large marble-look panels, framed by black acoustic slat panels on both sides. Their vertical lines emphasize the height of the room, while integrated LED lighting adds another dimension to the design.

But the fireplace itself needed attention too.

We reworked the fireplace area, installed a natural marble surround, and created a matching natural marble bench at the bottom.

And yes, there's a difference between the materials here: the large center panels have a marble-look finish, while the fireplace surround and lower bench use real natural marble.

At 20 feet high, installation required professional scaffolding and careful coordination to complete the work safely.

WHAT DOES AN $18,700 CUSTOM MEDIA WALL ACTUALLY INCLUDE?

At first glance, you see a massive entertainment wall with marble-look panels, rich wood finishes, and integrated lighting.

But some of the most interesting details are hidden inside.

For this project, we designed and built the entire structure around a custom entertainment system.

The oversized lower cabinet wasn't simply made for storage. It was specifically engineered to accommodate a motorized projection screen and a projector mounted on a custom pull-out platform.

When it's time to watch a movie, the screen lowers in front of the wall, and the projector can be brought into position.

We also created dedicated compartments for audio equipment, so everything has its own place within the design.

The cabinetry was custom-manufactured using premium materials and hardware, with natural wood details, marble-look wall panels, and multiple layers of integrated lighting.
Recessed spotlights highlight the upper section, while color-changing LED accents add another dimension to the entertainment experience.

This was a large-scale project where design, fabrication, storage, lighting, and technical equipment all had to work together.

When you see a finished custom media wall, it's easy to focus on the final installation.
But with a project like this, a significant part of the work happens long before anything is mounted on the wall.

For this project, we custom-built the floating shelves and lower cabinet, created wall panels from natural wood, and prepared the finishes specifically for the homeowner's space.

The wood panels were treated with premium European oil, chosen to enhance the natural grain and provide a beautiful finish.

We also used premium hardware and fittings, incorporated integrated LED lighting, and painted the elements in the color selected by the homeowner.

Everything was planned to work together — from the proportions of the shelves to the color of the cabinetry and the finish of the wood.

The homeowners already had a fireplace, so there was no reason to replace it. Instead, we focused on the 18-foot wall surrounding it.

We installed natural stone around the existing fireplace, extending the design all the way to the ceiling.

The stone's natural variations in color and texture add depth to the room, while the full-height installation draws the eye upward and emphasizes the scale of the space.

You don't need to come to us with a complete design plan.

Sometimes all it takes is a picture of a wall you like.

That's exactly how this project started. The homeowner had a reference image and wanted a similar media wall in their own living room.

We combined black marble-look panels with warm wood-look acoustic slats, added floating shelves, and incorporated a fireplace cabinet beneath the TV.

The contrast between the dark marble pattern and the wood texture gives the wall a distinctive look without requiring a complicated build.

And the design is flexible.
Both the marble-look and acoustic panels are available in different colors and finishes. You can go darker, lighter, warmer, or more neutral depending on your furniture and the style of your home.

That's exactly what we did for this homeowner. Three projects, 4 days of work, and a coordinated design throughout the home.

1. 𝗔 𝟭𝟲-𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗧 𝗖𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗠 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗔 𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗟

We combined black acoustic panels with a concrete-look center panel and custom wood shelves in a light finish chosen by the homeowner.

The wall also features a floating fireplace cabinet and Govee color-changing LED lighting behind the TV, inside the shelves, and underneath the cabinet.

And one particularly cool detail: the lighting under the cabinet turns on and off with a simple wave of your foot!

2. 𝗔 𝟭𝟬-𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗧 𝗞𝗜𝗧𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗨𝗣𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗘

We used the same black acoustic panels to finish the kitchen island and added integrated Govee lighting.

By repeating the materials, we created a visual connection between the kitchen and living area.

Some projects feel special before the room is even finished.

Today we worked on a nursery for a baby girl who will be joining the family soon.

There’s no furniture yet. No crib, toys or little details. So we started with the backdrop: soft pink walls and a classic molding accent wall that adds character without overwhelming the room.
