David Jacks
In the beginning in the cloak of darkness he worked at the box factory to do all kinds of deeds, it was McMillan Rodell. As the bright light shown from the sun he would make his way home to send us off to school wishing us a merry day. Now onto his “morning honey do task” hoping to complete them. Then off to the station he must go to harness the power of tools and make the engines purrrr.
Until one day his sister Frances needed a fence. So he and little brother Wayne filled with suspense gandered on how they may install a fence. And glory b
it was not so easy you see. They did not deter for they knew they could come up with a plan. So thats what they did. Then digety dig and stretchy stretch a fence they did erect.
The next thing you know, he has his PHD!! He did it! He took the “post hole diggers” pledge and graduated from the academy.
That was the beginning of Dad’s fence history.
Here are some of the things that made him successful and being known and loved by so many. Because of them he had a strong willingness to earn for his family, to help others when he could, to be fair, always honest and the ability to solve problems by focusing on the solutions to simplify tasks. These traits were instilled in him by his Mom, Grandma Jacks. She was always there to cheer you on or graciously let you know if you’re doing something wrong. A job well done is the only job worth doing! Then of course her undying love and support. He and his brothers picked cotton in Stamps Arkansas he started at age 9 his brother Glenn was 7!!!
Thankfully his brother Jerry moved to Little Rock. Because of this they all made their way to the rock. Each one became successes and never felt the pains of poverty.
