The Landscape/Tree Care Foreman is responsible for overseeing all on-site aspects of landscape construction and tree care projects

Required education: High school or equivalent
Minimum Physical Requirements:
• Push/pull up to 75 lbs
• Lift/carry up to 75 lbs
• Standing, squatting, climbing, crawling, lying down, walking, using hands, talking, hearing. Working Conditions will be indoor and outdoor, in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold. Noise level may be moderate at times. Capable to work at heights up to 80 feet.

Must have a good attitude, integrity, and ethics
•Responsible and dependable, excellent time management skills for job planning
•Speak, read, and write English effectively
•Possess a valid Driver’s license and DOT Health card
•Meet and/or exceed company production and safety standards
•Thoroughly understand all aspects of landscape construction and tree care
•Leadership capability and demeanor to manage crews of 2-5 laborers
•Able to organize work load efficiently and plan work for multiple crews
•Ability to read landscape plans and drawings
•Ability to effectively cut down and remove trees and branches in every environment.
•Ability to work under minimal supervision with attention to detail
•Ability to operate all landscape equipment: Skid steer, mini-excavator, mini-skid steer, etc., have a knowledge of all maintenance procedures on all equipment, and be able to problem solve when machinery issues come up
•Knowledge of specific materials, tree and shrub varieties, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices
•Interact well with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products
•Interact with customers in a competent and professional manner
•Ability to fill out and process company paperwork in a timely manner
•Able to train crew as a team and maintain a high level of morale and productivity
•Physically able to perform all aspects of landscape construction/tree care projects, •outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
•Carry and use a smart phone or data-enabled device for communication and reporting
responsibilities and Duties
•Train and lead a crew onsite through the complete ex*****on of projects, planning labor requirements, equipment requirements and material deliveries and timing to ensure completion of job(s) within project deadlines
•Delegate job tasks to appropriate crew members to assist in the completion of landscape constructions
•Ensure crew is wearing uniforms and conducting themselves in a safe and professional manner. PPE is required for crew and leaders at all times
•Coordinate with management to plan and organize a job, making certain that resources and materials are available to complete daily tasks. Read and interpret plans, understand grades and pitch, and prepare sites
•Complete jobs efficiently and within project deadlines in all conditions
Interact with clients professionally, courteously and respectfully. Customer service is our top priority!
•Create punch lists and load lists for upcoming work days
•Operate and train team members on tools and equipment (skid steers, mini-excavator, saws, etc.)
•Make sure trucks, trailers, and equipment are cleaned and ready for following day
•Maintain and enforce all company policies, regulations, and safety standards at the shop, on job sites, in trucks, trailers, equipment, etc.
•Follow all D.O.T rules and regulations on trailer and load securement.
•Complete and submit all required paperwork and receipts on a daily basis, including: daily job site logs, crew daily time sheets, equipment daily inspection forms, time and materials billing summaries, requests for time off, etc.
