For all my friends and customers that have heat pump systems :

Inclement weather, like heavy snow, freezing rain, can significantly impact a heat pump system by causing ice buildup on the outdoor unit's coils and fans, hindering its ability to extract heat from the air, thus reducing heating efficiency and potentially requiring the system to cycle more frequently to defrost, leading to higher energy consumption; as well as having a hard time heating, additionally, i would recommended to everyone that you turn your systems to Emergency or Auxiliary Heat until all the snow and ice Is melted from your systems.
