When I originally started this project, I wanted the tv to look like a piece of art. My wife and I don’t necessarily have a particular style we stick with. We just kinda throw s**t at the wall and see what sticks.
This one though I obsessed over. I drew this out 3 different ways, and spent countless hours working on designs and obsessing over the “correct” way to do things and what to put where, and so on.
At the end, the best part about this project was that I finally said “f**k it” and started actually enjoying building something. This s**t right here….. exactly what I wanted.
The tv is an LG 85”OLED gallery edition (the art feature was ridiculously important to me)
Sound is a Sony Atmos receiver, and we utilized that to the fullest. 4 ceiling speakers, 3 front facing and 2 subwoofers.
I’ll post more when the room is out back together.
The moral of the story: If someone said that I would just be designing and building built in cabinetry for the rest of my life, I would be 100% okay with it.
This is my first set by the way.
