These hands aren’t pretty… and they’re not supposed to be.

Every finger’s got a story.

The thumb and pinky?
Took hits and lost nails—but they grew back. Just like I do.

Middle finger?
That nail’s about to come off. Dropped a concrete block on it.
That’s part of the job.

Ring finger?
Sheet metal sliced it open. Taped it back together and kept going.

Pinky?
Chainsaw accident. Surgery. Never the same again… but it still works.

These hands get beat up by wet sand, brick, steel, hammers, cold mornings, and long days. I haven’t felt much in my hands for about a month since they are numb from nerve damage. But they still grip and and are determined to get things done
They crack, bleed, and swell—but they keep building.

Because at the end of the day…
these hands don’t just lay block or fix foundations—

They provide.
They protect.
They build a life for my family.

Hands that build things aren’t soft.
They’re tough… because they have to be.

I’m proud of my hands. I don’t stick em in my pocket to hide em, I don’t often use lotion because I need them to be tough and calloused. They are built for war, they are built to protect, they are built to provide.
