A little about the artist: Dottie attended Boston College of Art and received a BFA degree. She attended Lake Erie College and received her teaching certificate.
She taught art classes at the Pencil and Brush Studio Workship in Mentor, Ohio for many years. After her studio was closed, she taught middle school art at Phillips Osborne in Painesville, Ohio. After retiring from there, she found that teaching art was something that she couldn't give up. She taught art classes at Wildwood Cultural Center in Mentor, Ohio.
