Found this 2008 R-22 heat pump system the other day with a restricted TXV. With the age and refrigerant type it was our only best option to change it out. Reinstalled a new 15 seer2 3 ton 17 wide airhandler with 10 kw heat strips. 3 ton heat pump with new pad. New heavy duty filter rack 16x20x1 and a new auxiliary drain pan with new safety float switch. Installed a T6 pro smart thermostat. ⛈️⛈️Little rainy and wet but we still managed to get it done

Customer has been without air conditioning for about 2 months. Had a real bad thunderstorm come through and took out the zone board and compressor. He has been dealing with his home owners insurance and they have been dragging their feet for sure. Finally got the go ahead from the insurance agent. Installed new 3 ton 17 wide 15seer2 airhandler with 10 kw heat strips and Installed 3 ton heat pump with new pad. Replaced all 3 thermostats, zone board and all 3 motorized zone dampers. Installed new Auxiliary drain pan and float
switch. Filter rack was a good one and still in really good condition.

Found this system very low on R-410A the other day and all the wires, contactor and capacitor was saturated with oil. Compressor was replaced on this system last year but it was just barely still under the 10 year part warranty by only a few weeks. Since the refrigerant change me and the customer decided not to throw any more money at and just go ahead for replacement. Installed new 3 ton 17 wide 15seer2 airhandler with 10 kw heat strips and a 3 ton heat pump with new pad. Return box already had a nice filter rack and auxiliary drain pan and float switch was still in good condition.

Customer has been having some issues with the main level system for about 2 years. He’s been trying to repair it but he finds himself throwing too much money at it. He’s really handy. System was like 24 years old!!! He got his money out of that one for sure!!! Installed new 15seer2 21wide 3.5 ton airhandler with 10KW heat strips and 3.5 ton heat pump. Replaced auxiliary drain pan 36x36. Replaced safety float switch. Upgraded the thermostat to a T6 pro smart thermostat. Reran new low voltage wire and clear tubing to the outdoor unit.

Found this system low on refrigerant for the 2nd time. Customer was sick of dumping money into it. He wanted it gone asap. With the age of the system it was just best for a whole new setup. Also customer has a bonus room above the garage that is an office and it would never get comfortable. Installed new 3 ton drive 17 wide 80,000 BTU 92% furnace with 3 ton evaporator coil and air conditioner. Upgraded the filtration to a 16x25x4 Honeywell filtration cabinet. Zoned out the system for the bonus room and the other side of the upstairs. Now the bonus room has its own thermostat and seperate ductwork for comfortable control.

Found this system totally out of refrigerant the other day. Customer was fixing to leave out of town with a hot house and leaving 2 dogs behind with a dog sitter. The customer has a HVAC company but they could not get it replaced until after she was out of town. It was a rainy and sloppy day. The cardboard on the equipment don’t lie 🤣⛈️Installed a 17 wide upflow 3 ton evaporator coil and 3 ton air conditioner with new pad. Also found that the auxiliary drain pan did not have a safety float switch on it. Got her one installed. Better safe than sorry. This safety switches are alot cheaper than your insurance deductible

Found this system pretty low on refrigerant the other day. Found the leak in the condensing coil. Since this system was out of warranty and the new refrigerant is out there was no other option but to changeout the airhandler and heat pump. Installed new 3.5 ton 21 wide airhandler with 10kw heat strips and 3 ton heat pump. New T6 pro smart thermostat. New auxiliary drain pan and safety float switch.
