I received a note from a top notch realtor that I do home inspections for in the Humboldt area:
Hi!
My buyers cancelled on the Azalea house today. We called in 2 contractors & a structural engineer to look at the foundation after you found that crack, turns out the whole thing needs to be jacked up & replaced with an extensive French drain installed. Not to mention the roof is shot. Probably a combined $80-$100k in major structural repairs needed.
