Our History
Established in 1976.
Rutledge & Son’s was established in 1976 by Roy Rutledge. Roy was a framing carpenter and roofer by trade. He worked with several builders and even built homes for some of the Dallas Cowboys players in lake Dallas. After Roy passed away the company was taken over by his son, George Rutledge, who is a roofer by trade. Since George has taken over, Rutledge & Son’s primary focus has been on roofing. To date, the company has helped several hundreds of homeowners through our storm restoration department and have mirrored that number in our, “New Construction”, division. Rutledge & Son’s is active in our home community of McKinney, TX hosting one fundraiser per quarter for a charitable cause.
