McKinney Matters presents: House of Motifs. 🇹🇷❤️🇺🇸

Mustafa has brought a piece of Türkiye to Historic Downtown McKinney through House of Motifs, featuring beautiful handcrafted textiles, ceramics, home décor and more, all inspired by generations of Turkish culture and craftsmanship.

It’s more than a store. It’s a chance to experience another culture, meet a neighbor, and be reminded that the things that make us different can also make our community a whole lot more interesting.

Every year the McKinney Chamber of Commerce celebrates the businesses that make this town what it is — and this year House Of Motifs is on the ballot for Best Specialty Retail Store in the 2026 Best of McKinney.

If you've wandered in, you know we're not quite like anywhere else downtown: a shop full of handmade Turkish and Mediterranean ceramics, textiles, and gifts, each one with a story behind it. We hosted our first Backgammon Tournament in Downtown McKinney — and it was everything we hoped for.
