-Pick a varietal that has low chill hour requirements
-Monitor soil acidity. Use a soil pH monitor
-fertilize using a berry fertilizer in the spring and fall.

The Spacemaster cucumber is a miniature cucumber vine, only reaching 3 to 4 feet, that produces abundant 8 to 10 inch long cucumbers! They are truly the overachiever of the garden. Look at these little guys. Only about 3 inches tall and already blooming!

These cucumbers are a perfect container variety, and can even live their entire lives indoors under a grow light! A perfect choice for the space challenged gardener!

Remember the average last frost date for North Texas is mid-march. Tomatoes and squash can go in the ground now, but be prepared to protect them if necessary. Cool weather herbs, brassicas and lettuce can go in the ground now and will be happy! We have all of these ready to go, some are about to start blooming already!
