A few home tips that could save you thousands on repairs later.
1. Water heaters should be drained regularly.
2. If you have a disposable air filter for your heating and cooling system, change it monthly, a good time is when you get your electric bill
3. Your roof my have a warranty, but your sealants around your pipe jacks and vents needs to be checked on a regular basis for separation. This is where a majority of your ceiling leaks comes from.
4. Caulking around windows can also separate and cause leaks inside.
5. Have your a/c drain checked whenever you get your unit serviced. If your unit is in the attic and it gets clogged, you could get water damage on your ceiling.
