Yes, amaryllis are NOT only holiday flowers!

And they make great cut flowers - ie have all the characteristics for use as indoor decor like stem length and vase life.

As we officially begin winter with the shortest day of the year, we look forward to return of more light.

What a beautiful gift this window between today and the new year is.

A time to pause, go inward, reflect, release, and get intentional about what we are welcoming in the new year.

Just like my garden is resting.

I’m looking forward to rest, taking pause, counting my blessings.

A gentle reminder that the light is returning. Let’s not hurry it…

Because they know… growing and nurturing a garden and flowers helps ground us and brings so much peace and joy.

I love being their mentor and helping them become confident gardeners.

Whenever someone asks me about my personal décor style, I always say anything that feels like home to me and reminds me of the people and places I love.

The warmth and intoxicating fragrance of mogra or jasmine candle gifted to me by a soul sister, the last harvests from my cutting garden from marigolds to spinning gourds and familiar textures like antique brass and wood I grew up with.

Our homes nurture so many emotional connections. And every year, I’m drawn more and more to nature and seasons leading the way.
