This palette is our current obsession. We wanted to blend the “earthiness” of natural stone with the “airy” feel of a high-end retreat.🛁

Key Players:
• The Onyx: Those undulating waves in the stone bring in a natural, fluid energy that mimics moving water. 🌊
• The Paint: These soft, misty greens are the ultimate “spa” colors - that perfect “not-quite-grey, not-quite-green” look.🌱

Whether you’re pouring a vintage bourbon or hosting the ultimate game night, this moody material palette is the blueprint for a basement bar with serious edge. 🥃✨

The breakdown:
Sage Green Cabinetry: A deep, muted earth tone that brings a sense of sophisticated calm to the space.🌿
Smoked Oak Flooring: Dark, rich wood tones to ground the room and keep things feeling cozy.🪵

We are so honored to be named a 2026 Finalist for the PRO Remodeler of the Year Awards!🏆

MC3 Design was recognized in the category of Residential Historical Renovation/Restoration ($250,000 and Over) for our “Maywood” project.

This early 1900s historic home in Arlington, VA, holds a special place in our hearts. When our clients acquired the property, they were determined to preserve its original charm while creating enough space to support their growing family. 🛠️🧑‍🧑‍🧒
The heart of this transformation is the rear addition, which creates a seamless connection between the main residence and the existing garage. We wanted to marry the home’s historic roots with modern interior elements that reflected the family’s own origins. The result is a home that feels both timeless and perfectly tailored to their new chapter. 🏡✨
