Last night, I had the opportunity to tour the gardens of the Swallowtail Waldorf School and Farm in Forest Grove. This remarkable school features beautiful grounds and a separate farm property where children can learn and grow among plants and wildlife. Friend of Berry Creek Garden, Pete Peterson, is the facilities manager and the visionary behind much of this school's operations. Pete has been sourcing natives from Berry Creek and has big plans for future gardens.. The school is absolutely charming inside and out. The color-themed rooms, all wood furniture, and toys create a space that is both magical and educational. Thank you so much for the tour, Pete! Thank you for supporting Berry Creek Garden!!

Here's what's blooming in the courtyard today, along with a quick update on our hours: starting next week, Berry Creek Garden will be open Thursday through Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

As a small, independently operated business, I regularly assess how to best allocate my time and resources. This change in our schedule will allow me to devote more time to working directly with customers, sourcing outstanding plants, and helping bring gardens and landscape projects of all sizes to life.

Thank you for supporting local, independent businesses. I look forward to growing something special with this community.
