I'll make a video later this week on how to change main deck belts on zero turns a lot of people message me get started and lost or pinched there damn fingers trying to roll it on like we did in the field already pi**ed off back in the day ,.....wing deck belts and hydro belts are pretty much the same but a little different, be SMART and get a 1/2 or 3/4 breaker bar most manufacturers are 1/2 in.. ,a tape measure to measure spring distance to tension pulley and set it to factory distance ... and identify your route pattern to idler and drive pulleys ,most manufacturers have the skematics and route pattern on the deck or the floor plate when you lift it up, make sure your on a flat surface and lower the deck to its lowest point and cutting setting and your brake is engaged so you can get to the belt,put the breaker bar in and turn clockwise into tension pulley to release the belt ,make sure you look from the drive shaft under the motor that the drive belt isn't twisted or under the frame bar as you reroute , take pictures if your not real experienced,start your belt pattern from the back ,remember V grove goes into all drive pulleys and flat goes to all the idler pulleys ,then once routed correctly easily let off the breaker bar and pull and pull on belt make sure all components are routed correctly and you mine as well grease everything while your there , raise your deck , start your machine , ease up to full throttle and engage PTO and you should be good tgt , I'll make a video later this week , and always inspect everything I can't express it and don't cheat on maintenance or running anything with ethenol in it
