Warning, this is a very vulnerable post for us. We normally don’t discuss personal issues on Facebook, especially on our business page.

As most of you know Josh ended up having an unexpected knee surgery 3 weeks ago which set us back a bit which is tough at this time of the year but we have been met with patients and understanding that we truly are thankful for. Unfortunately on Wednesday another completely unrelated surgery happened with complications and extended hospital stay. Despite the setback, we are fully committed to finishing Round 1 and getting those irrigation systems up and running. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding while we ensure everything gets done. Your trust means the world!

🌱 Your grass isn’t the problem. Your soil is

In Central Kansas, most lawns are growing in some of the toughest soil in the country — heavy clay mixed with limestone and very little organic matter.

That means:
• Water doesn’t soak in very well

Now add Tall Fescue into the mix — the most common grass in our area.

In God’s mercy, he has been called home. Earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust, in the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

It is with great sadness that we share that our beloved Tank (the turf dog) crossed over to the pearly gates this morning, peacefully in his sleep. 🤍
Tank blessed our family with 12½ amazing years. He was truly a gentle giant who knew no enemy—if you had a hand to offer for pets, you were instantly his best friend.
He loved spending his evenings laying in the front yard grass, watching the world go by. I’m sure he was met by Mom, Bear, Nana, Marty, and Wade with arms wide open.
Rest easy, good boy. You will be forever loved, and we will see you again someday. 🐾💔

You won't believe it, but now is the perfect time to get rid of those old stumps in your yard, while the grass is dormant. This Bermuda lawn was a breeze to work with, even with heavy equipment rolling around. Fescue lawns, on the other hand, need to wait a bit longer. We had a real challenge on our hands with this incredibly old maple tree stump, but thankfully Caleb was there to save the day!
