The design team set out to create an open-concept space that feels elevated yet approachable. By introducing rich walnut tones into a light, transitional palette, the home strikes a balance of warmth and refinement.

A walnut kitchen island anchors the space, adding contrast against the lighter Alabaster cabinetry. Carrying that same walnut finish into the adjacent living area creates a natural flow, while the flush inset door style continues into the primary bath for a cohesive, spa-like feel.

Featuring Kemp handcrafted cabinetry, this project shows how thoughtful material choices and intentional design can take a market home to the next level.

From demo to done!

This kitchen renovation completely opened the space to the dining room while working around an existing brick column that had to remain. What started as a framed, closed-off room was transformed into a bright, functional kitchen with better flow and more usable space.

The finished design features Trumbull Evercore cabinetry in a Warm White finish, creating a clean and timeless look. A drawer microwave located in the pantry area helps keep the main kitchen workspace uncluttered while still easily accessible.

The result is a kitchen that feels larger, brighter, and better connected to the rest of the home—proof that even structural challenges can lead to great design solutions.
