Virgo Moon was started as a simple and sweet way to facilitate a deeper connection to oneself and the cosmos. The slow crafted herbal candies correspond to the cycles of nature and include astrological material - when you indulge in a Virgo Moon sweet, you're broadening your smile and your mind. The Virgo Moon kitchen is located in a small town in Maine - right next to the garden where many of the

herbs are grown and a mile away from the berry farm & bee hives where the berries, peaches & honey are sourced. Jilly grows, harvests and forages as much as she can during the summer months and stores all ingredients with care - once the Virgo Moon reserves are depleted, it is gone until next harvest! Each recipe was formulated over the years by the owner & operator, Jilly, a biologist, artist, astrologer & herbalist who draws inspiration not only from the local flora & fauna and the orbit of the planets, but also from the 19th century apothecaries and drugstore soda fountains - back when the remedies were preserved in sugar ~ at Virgo Moon, a spoonful of sugar helps the wisdom of the cosmos go down. Since Jilly started selling her creations online in 2017, she has included astrological insight with every order - information on Moon phases, the current cosmic weather and other helpful mini guides for cosmic alignment. Bee Hive No. 1 update: these frames were empty 20 days ago, now they are full of comb, brood, royal jelly even bee bread (which we didn’t even know existed until we saw it and looked it up!)

Bee Hive No. 2 had a massive chunk of comb growing around their interior feeder, and we had to remove it to add in the other frames. A sad extraction as we could see a lot of bee larvae in the comb 😢 , another inspection, another lesson in beekeeping.

Inspection was done during the Ta**us New Moon on 5/16/2026 🐝🌚✨🪐

I’ve been thinking of starting a legit Snail Mail Club - I’ll admit, I’m not great at updating websites. It’s a lot of work to create the Astro Guide and then to put it into a website format is even more work and tbh I’d rather be outside in the garden or throwing sticks with my dog, Belladonna.

We installed our nucleus colony on Tuesday; this 2nd hive has a 0° Capricorn Rising with the Moon at 4° Capricorn 🪐🌙✨🐝

Installation began towards the end of Moon hour and completed during Saturn hour.

Transiting Venus in Gemini was upon our composite Mercury in Gemini ♊️ ✨

The 2026 Virgo Moon Apiary is complete 🐝✨

Now it’s time to get back to making the candy & working on our garden 🍭🌸🌱🍓✨
