Obituary Lucio Alvarez……………….. Lucio Alvarez passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at his home in Mechanicsville. Lucio is survived by his loving family: Wife: Heather Alvarez; Daughters: Brittney Sale (Sterling), Tiffany Sale; Grandchildren: Scarlett Graziano, Skyler Runnenbohm, Avin Runnenbohm; Mother: Buenaventura Alvarez Juarez, Mexico; Father: Castulo Alvarez Cervantez, Mexico; Mother-in-Law: Nancy Schroeder, Mechanicsville; Brothers: Jesus Alvarez, (Guadalupe), GA; Juan Leonardo Alvarez, (Anayeli), GA; Roberto Alvarez, (Maria), TX; José Alvarez, (Rosa), GA; Jaime Alvarez, (Angeles Christina), GA; Victor Alvarez, (Tania Lizbeth ), TX; Francisco Alvarez, (Melinda), Mexico; Sisters: Linda Alvarez, (Jesus), Mexico; Christina Alvarez, (Ever), GA; Aunts: Klara Alvarez, (Armando), GA; Ann Morgan, Cheryl Bache, Tappahannock; Grandmother: Casilda Alvarez, Mexico; And, a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Lucio was born in Rio Verde, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. He came to the United States when he was sixteen years old. Lucio had worked diligently and for many years on the naturalization process. He had obtained his green card and recently was working on becoming a US citizen.
Lucio worked very hard during his entire life. He owned and operated his own business, LA Enterprises. He specialized in home improvement and was in business for over 20 years. He has worked on job sites all over VA, D.C., NC, WVA, Mexico and MD. LA Enterprises has many satisfied and happy customers.
Lucio was a good man. Quiet, reserved, very respectful, loving, and hardworking. He was loved by all. He was a devoted family man; he loved and looked after his family here, and in Georgia and Mexico.
Lucio was a member of Victory Baptist Church, 6313 Clover Lane, Henrico, VA 23228.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 4 till 5 p.m. prior to a Celebration of Life Service at B.W. White Funeral Home, 7837 Richmond Tappahannock Highway, Aylett, VA 23009
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Victory Baptist Church in loving memory of Lucio Alvarez.
