Hardy Hibiscus are always pretty, but we've been blown away by 'Edge of Night,' with its bubblegum pink blooms and dark purple leaves that verge on black. It is hardy all the way down to Zone 4. 🌺

If this Brazilian vervain (Verbena bonariensis) seems unusually full, that's because it is. This is usually a sparse, airy plant that's great for adding height to a flower bed without extra bulk. Here, the regular (taller) species has planted itself on top of the dwarf version, 'Lollipop,' creating a doubly showy clump in Sandy's border.
